Some more information from Volkswagen on the ID1:
It is planned to arrive in 2026 or 2027 at the latest. It will have a price below 20,000 euros and will be built together with Skoda , the latter is the one leading the project and is also considering other markets such as India or China.
For the platform, the MEB is ruled out and they will probably adapt the group's own platform for these models.
